Night running in Suffolk

Our Night Running adventure is for runners of all abilities who want to test out their headtorch and try out night running on the trails. During the course of the run we'll head out onto the trails for a 10km / 6 mile run where you'll be introduced to different trail running terrain, have the opportunity to try out your headtorch and practice night running technique over a variety of terrain.

This will be a social run, not a race. It’s an opportunity for you to try out running in the dark. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and are able to run for 6 miles/10km at approximately 10-11 min/miles.

The route takes in a variety of terrain from forests, fields, tracks and trails. There is a some elevation and we keep the road running kept to a minimum.

Please bring your own headtorch with you.

We’ll send an email during the week before the run with all of the information that you need. If you haven’t received any information two days before the run, please contact us.

About the Run

A brief timeline of your running adventure. All timings are approximate and subject to change.

7:00 PM - Meet and Introduction

The run gets underway at 7:00pm where you’ll get an introduction to the adventure, what to expect and a brief of the route and terrain.

7:15 PM - Running!

You’ll head out onto the trails with our Run Leaders who will guide you on the trail run. This is your chance to try out your headtorch over various terrain. We’ll take it easy – with a few stops along the way talking technique, trail running and everything else in between!

8:30PM - Finish

We’ll wrap up our night run and you will have the chance to catch up with the rest of the group over a drink.
