What's Included

22 miles of Stunning Trails

It's not always easy to find trail running routes. We have an excellent route between Orford and Framlingham that takes in some great trails - weaving through forests across farmland and rural villages. Keep your eye out for deer and other wildlife!

Refreshments

Refreshments, running nutrition and food will be provided along the way. We aim to have at least two stops along the route. There will be a chance to try Science in Sport (SiS) nutrition products.

Tips & Running Technique

As we take on a vartiety of trails, the Trail Runs guide will be on hand to offer any tips and advice that you're looking for. Whether you're upping the distance, running hills or looking to improve on the trails, you'll have the chance to run and ask any questions.

Get the Most out of your Adventure

We love to be sociable and we'll be on hand for any running-related questions you may have. From kit and nutrition to navigation, running technique and everything in between. We have a lot of trail running experience and we're keen to share our knowledge and advice with you.

FAQs

This will be a social run, not a race, with lots of opportunities to stop and take photographs.  We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and are able to run for 22miles/35km at approximately 11 min/miles.

The route takes in a variety of terrain from forests, fields, tracks and trails. There is a some elevation and we keep the road running kept to a minimum.

We encourage you to lift share, where possible (within COVID-19 guidelines), making it easy to leave a car in Framlingham and drive to the start. There are car parks available at both the finish and the start and we will provide locations in the pre-run instructions.

Alternatively, Framlingham provides a great day out for any family or friends that wish to meet you there and there are local taxis available.

We have a list of recommended kit available here – https://trailruns.co.uk/recommended-kit/

We would recommend carrying at least 1 litre of water for this run as we’ll be out on the trails for a couple of hours at a time before replenishing supplies.

We will send an email during the week before the run with all of the information that you need. If you haven’t received any information two days before the run, please contact us.
