26 Miles of Stunning Trails

It's not always easy to find trail running routes. Our Dunwich marathon covers some of the best trails next to the Suffolk coast. Taking in heathland, forests and idyllic Suffolk villages. Keep your eye out for deer and other wildlife!

A Marathon Challenge

Whether you're a seasoned marathoner, or looking to start tackling longer distances, everyone is welcome and no one gets left behind!

Tips & Running Technique

As we take on a vartiety of trails, the Trail Runs leader will be on hand to offer any tips and advice that you're looking for. Whether you're upping the distance, running hills or looking to improve on the trails, you'll have the chance to run and ask any questions.

Get the Most out of your Adventure

We love to be sociable and we'll be on hand for any running-related questions you may have. From getting the most out of your GPS watch and navigation to running with poles and everything in between. We'll be around afterwards too to catch up over a beer or coffee.

This will be a social run, not a race, with lots of opportunities to stop and take photographs.  We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and are able to run for 18 miles/30km at approximately 13 min/miles.

The route takes in a variety of terrain from forests, fields, tracks and trails. There is a some elevation and we keep the road running kept to a minimum.

We have a list of recommended kit available here – https://trailruns.co.uk/recommended-kit/

We recommend carrying at least 1 litre of water for this run as we’ll be out on the trails for a couple of hours at a time before replenishing supplies.

We’ll send an email during the week before the run with all of the information that you need. If you haven’t received any information two days before the run, please contact us.
