Your introduction to Trail Running
We're offering a FREE Intro to Trail Running session for anyone who's looking to either hit the trails for the first time, or would just like to learn more about trail running and all it has to offer. You'll be joined on the trails by Tom, an experienced ultra and trail runner, as well as a Salomon sponsored ambassador, who will give you expert coaching and advice. You'll leave the session with the confidence that you need to go on and tackle the trails on your own.

Trail Running has something for everyone - it's for runners of all abilities. With no focus on pace and time, we want you to enjoy the trails, take in your surroundings and make the most of your Trail Adventure.
Get the Most out of your Adventure
We love to be sociable and we'll be on hand for any running-related questions you may have. From getting the most out of your GPS watch and navigation to running with poles and everything in between. We'll be around afterwards too to catch up over a beer or coffee.
FAQs
This will be a social run, for everyone and not a race. We recommend that you are able to run at least 5km.
The route takes in a variety of terrain from fields, tracks and trails. There is a some elevation (useful for hill technique) and we keep the road running kept to a minimum.

We would recommend carrying at least 1 litre of water for this run as we’ll be out on the trails for a couple of hours at a time.
We’ll send an email during the week before the run with all of the information that you need. If you haven’t received any information two days before the run, please contact us.
About the Day
A brief timeline of your running workshop. All timings are approximate and subject to change.
The day gets underway at 9:00am where you’ll meet Tom who will give you an introduction and what to expect.
You’ll head out onto the trails this is your chance to learn about everything trail running. We’ll take it easy – running a great loop with technique stops along the way.
We’ll wrap up our morning run and you will have the chance to catch up with everyone and ask any questions.
