class=\"elementor-icon-box-description\">Thorpeness is a small village, lying to the North of Aldeburgh and South of Dunwich. Some say it's almost like fairytale village.\n\nIn 1910 Stuart Ogilvie bought the hamlet and turned it into a private holiday village, building mock Tudor houses just to the edge of the famous Meare.<\/p>\n\n                                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n        <\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1a90677 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"1a90677\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1e40c26 elementor-view-default elementor-position-top elementor-widget elementor-widget-themo-header\" data-id=\"1e40c26\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"themo-header.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"th-header-wrap\">\n        <div class=\"elementor-icon-box-wrapper \">\n                            <div class=\"elementor-icon-box-content\">\n                    <h3 class=\"elementor-icon-box-title\">\n                        Things to See and Do                    <\/h3>\n                                            <span class=\"th-header-divider\"><\/span>\n                                        <p class=\"elementor-icon-box-description\">Thorpeness Meare is possibly the most dominant feature within the village, it's an artificially created boating lake with tiny islands themed on Peter Pan \"Wendy's Island\". Hiring a boat is the perfect activity for a lazy or energetic afternoon, depending on how quickly you fancy exploring the many islands.\n\nTowering over the Meare is the famous \"House in the Clouds\", \u00a0a Grade II listed building and now a holiday home that is suspended in the air. It was originally built as a water tower and the water tank at the top was disguised in a mock-Tudor style fashion in keeping with the rest of Thorpeness.
